All about Eid Al Adha 2023

This year the annual festival of Eid Al Adha or Bakra Eid shall be observed on June 28, Wednesday in the UAE. Vigorously celebrated by Muslims all across the world, the holiday is the second most well-known festival among the Islamic community. The day is also known as "The Feast of Sacrifice" and honors the willingness of the Prophet to sacrifice his son as an act of obedience to Allah. The divine festival which is also known as Eid Ul Adha takes place at the end of Hajj, according to the Islamic lunar calendar. The festive holiday begins at the sunset of the mentioned day and will end on the evening of June 30, Friday in the UAE.
