- 16-ounce kataifi (shredded phyllo dough)
- 15-ounce ricotta cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- One-third cup of white sugar
- 12 ounces of unsalted butter
For the syrup:
- 1 cup white sugar
- Half a cup of water
- One teaspoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon rose water.
Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
Finely chop the shredded phyllo dough. Pour the dough into a large mixing bowl. In a separate bowl, mix together the ricotta, mozzarella, and 1/3 cup sugar.
